Eclectic Summer Wedding at Cedar Bloom
Nestled in Southern Oregon is a venue that will make a camping/adventurous couple swoon! Truly one of Southern Oregon’s hidden gems is Cedar Bloom Wedding venue. A gorgeous, intimate outdoor space surrounded by miles of forestry and access to a river for swimming.
While wedding planning, Amy and Hans knew they wanted to get married at Cedar Bloom. They had been camping there many times and had so many memories and a special place in their heart so they wanted to include it in their special day! Cedar Bloom has a 24-hour package with exclusive use of the property with time allocated for a rehearsal the day before. Amy and Hans spent the afternoon before their wedding down at the river that runs through the venue. They spent time swimming and enjoying time with their friends, a great way to really soak it all in before the wedding.
Also included with the venue are beautiful, aesthetic A-frame cabins that sleep 2 per cabin. As well as a large grassy meadow for guests to camp and Amy and Hans rented glamping tents for a luxe outdoor experience!
Amy and Hans chose to not do a first look before the ceremony, but were able to get ready comfortably in separate spaces! Both places along with great getting ready areas, also had large decks to be able to enjoy gorgeous views and enjoy time outside on the deck with their friends! What a gorgeous space to pop some champagne and spend time with everyone before the ceremony!
There are multiple areas to have your ceremony at Cedar Bloom, but Amy and Hans chose to have their ceremony in the garden! In the garden, there is a stunning, handcrafted wooden circle arbor that makes for the perfect focal point! Conveniently, the space has wood benches that can seat 100 guests. The wooden benches are crafted in that they effortlessly add to the aesthetic of the area.
Amy wanted to include florals that would compliment the space and scenery with warm and vibrant tones. They chose a local organic floral farm to supply and design the installation.
Cedar Bloom has a lot of options for the photographer to take photos at, both offering variety but without compromising cohesion. The arch, the lawn or even the deck makes such a perfect backdrop with options for shade as well as in backlighting in the sun, which your photographer will appreciate!

After the Tone, an audio guestbook that allows guests to pick up the phone and leave a message for the couple! Such a fun alterative to a traditional guestbook! In years to come, you will be able to actually hear the voices of your loved ones wishing you well on your day!
Cornhole games, this is a popular rental item of ours! Your guests will enjoy playing yard games during your cocktail hour!
The area that the reception was also has a stage area that is perfect for toasts! They transitioned into dancing and WOW! We love seeing our rug dance floor in action, it’s super customizable and a unique alternative to a traditional dance floor!
This wedding ended with a bang…..or should I say a splash ;)
As soon as Amy and Hans booked the venue and Amy saw the river, she knew she wanted to incorporate a river jump at the end of the night!
After the dancing ended at 11pm, Amy and Hans walked down to the river with their guests and jumped in fully dressed in their wedding attire! After the couple jumped in, some of the guests decided to end the night by jumping in as well!
“I did not expect so many people to hike down to the river or to jump in, but we had at least 20 people in the water with us. It was such a fun and special way to end the night!” The bride says!
Amy and Hans’ wedding day was a beautiful balance of unique and also following some of today’s trends that they loved! They chose things that were special to them and every detail was so intentional and thought out! We are so glad that Amy and Hans used our rentals to achieve their eclectic boho aesthetic!
